Chicken Gizzard Recipe
Chicken gizzards are the stomachs of chickens. When cooked properly, they become tender and juicy, with a rich chicken flavor. However, if not prepared correctly, they can turn tough and chewy. This chicken gizzard recipe I’m sharing will help you easily make tangy and spicy gizzards that are delicious and perfect as a side dish.

INGREDIENTS
- 200g chicken gizzards
DIRECTIONS
Prepare all the main and additional ingredients.
Chop 4 cloves of garlic, 1 chili pepper, 2 small chili peppers, and 2 sprigs of cilantro.
Wash 200g of chicken gizzards and place them in a pot of cold water. Add ginger, green onion, cooking wine, Sichuan peppercorns, and star anise, then bring to a boil.
Remove the scum and simmer for 15 minut.
Prepare the seasoning sauce: In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of chicken bouillon, 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, 15ml of soy sauce, and some minced ginger and garlic. Mix well.
Once the chicken gizzards are cooked, let them cool and then slice them.
Add the minced garlic, sliced chili peppers, and chopped cilantro to the chicken gizzards.
Pour the prepared seasoning sauce over the chicken gizzards.
Mix well to ensure the seasoning sauce is evenly distributed and fully coats the chicken gizzards.
