Chinese Sausage Rice
If you want a delicious meal in a limited time, this Chinese Sausage Rice is perfect. It's a go-to recipe for busy weeknights, easy to make, and just as tasty as restaurant dishes.

INGREDIENTS
- 300g jasmine rice
- 150g Chinese sausage
DIRECTIONS
Prepare all ingredients:
Clean and dice the carrots.
Blanch the Chinese sausage in hot water, then slice it.
Soak the mushrooms in hot water until soft, then cut in half.
Use pre-shelled chestnuts.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the scallions until fragrant.
Add diced carrots and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
Add the Chinese sausage and cook until it releases its oil.
Add chestnuts and mushrooms, then season with a spoonful of salt.
Add jasmine rice (no need to rinse).
A 300g pack is enough for 3-4 servings.
Stir in light soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Transfer everything to a rice cooker.
Add water to cover the rice, then drizzle a few drops of sesame oil for extra flavor.
Press the cook button and let it cook for about 20 minutes.
Once done, garnish with scallions and enjoy your delicious sausage rice!
