Let me guide you through an effortless recipe for a delicious Chinese-style hash browns. This healthy and tasty dish will make your breakfast time special even on the busiest days!

INGREDIENTS
- 3 medium-sized potatoes (approximately 12.34 oz / 350g)
DIRECTIONS
Prepare 45g of flour, 3 medium-sized potatoes that have been peeled and washed, and 20g of cleaned green onions.
Chop the green onions into small pieces for later use.
Grate the potatoes into fine threads, and place them in a bowl.
Tips:
1)The finer the potato threads, the better the taste. If you don't have a grater, you can use a knife to cut the potatoes into threads, but make sure they are uniform.
2)If the potato threads need to be soaked in water, please drain them.
Add the prepared flour and green onions.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a small amount of cooking oil, stir until it's well mixed.
Tips:
You can add some pepper or chili powder according to your taste for different flavors.
Next, add an egg and stir until well blended.
Tips:
1)Adding an egg enhances the stickiness and texture between the potato threads, making it more nutritious.
2)If you prefer a crisper texture, you may skip the egg.
After stirring, let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
Tips:
Don’t let it sit too long, as it may affect the taste.
Preheat a flat pan or electric baker, brush a little cooking oil, and hand press the potato threads into a pancake shape into the pan.
Tips:
1)You can use tools such as a spatula or scraper to help press the potato threads into a pancake shape.
2)The thinner the pancake, the easier it is to cook and the crisper it will be.
Slowly pan-fry over medium-low heat, flipping it after one side has set, until both sides are golden brown.
Tips:
1)Be mindful of the frying time; if it's fried too long, the potato pancake will harden. After about 2 minutes of frying one side, flip it and repeat until it's golden brown.
2)When frying the potato pancake, you can gently press it with a spatula to make the potato threads more compact.
Take out the pancake and plate it. According to your taste, you can sprinkle some pepper salt or ketchup on it before serving.
