Delicious Snow Fungus Soup with Pears
Snow Fungus Soup with Pears is a traditional sweet dessert made from ingredients such as Snow Fungus, pear, lily bulb, and goji berries. It's a healthful food known for its nourishing and beautifying properties. The stewed Snow Fungus Soup with Pears has a wonderful texture, smooth and soft, making it irresistible with every bowl!

INGREDIENTS
- 20g dried Snow Fungus
- 1 pear
DIRECTIONS
Peel and cut the pear into chunks. Soak the dried Snow Fungus for about one hour in advance, remove the tough stem parts, and tear it into small pieces for later use.
tip:
①Soaking the Snow Fungus for one hour and tearing it into small pieces helps soften it and facilitates better gel formation.
②Place the pear chunks in a bowl of cold water to prevent oxidation and discoloration.
Lotus seeds (core removed) 20g, red dates 20g, goji berries 6g, rock sugar 40g, for later use.
Add cold water to a clay pot, then add the soaked Snow Fungus. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat, cover, and simmer for half an hour until thickened.
tip:
①Ensure to add enough water at once; adding water midway can compromise the gelatinous texture of the Snow Fungus.
②It's essential to simmer over low heat to ensure the Snow Fungus becomes completely soft and sticky.
Once the Snow Fungus in the pot has developed a sticky, gelatinous texture, you can add the lotus seeds and red dates.
Next, add the pear chunks and rock sugar into the pot as well.
Don't forget the goji berries either. After adding everything, stir gently to combine, then cover the pot and continue simmering.
Cook for approximately 30 minutes until the snow pear is tender, the soup is thickened, and it has a slightly brownish color.
Serve and enjoy! If you prefer it cold, you can refrigerate it before eating.
