INGREDIENTS
- 200g of ground pork
DIRECTIONS
Prepare the necessary ingredients in advance.
Rinse the celery thoroughly, drain off excess water, and chop it finely.
Rinse the pork thoroughly, drain off excess water, and mince it into ground pork.
Mix the minced pork with the chopped celery. Add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce, 1.5 grams of Chinese thirteen-spice powder, 2 grams of salt, and 2 grams of sesame oil.
Stir the mixture clockwise using chopsticks until well combined.
Tip:
Stirring in the same direction in circular motions helps the meat absorb moisture evenly, resulting in a better texture when eaten.
Take an appropriate amount of the prepared filling and place it in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
Pinch the middle together. Hold the two ends of the dumpling wrapper at the thumb and index finger, then tightly pinch the edges of the dumpling with your thumb. Follow this method to wrap the dumplings completely.
Add plenty of water to a pot and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, carefully add the wrapped dumplings. Stir gently while cooking until the dumplings are fully cooked through.
Tip:
①When boiling dumplings, you can add a teaspoon of salt to the water to enhance the texture of the dumplings.
②When all the dumplings float to the surface, it indicates they are cooked through and ready to be removed from the water.
