French-Style Roasted Potatoes – Crispy & Savory
French-style roasted potatoes are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with an enticing aroma. They are simple yet full of flavor. Seasoned with smoked paprika and Parmesan cheese, this side dish is instantly elevated, becoming the highlight of the dinner table.

INGREDIENTS
- 6 medium-sized potatoes
DIRECTIONS
Boil the potatoes:
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and keep the skin on.
Pour enough water into the pot, add the potatoes and an appropriate amount of salt. Boil for about 30 minutes until the potatoes are soft and can be easily pierced with a chopstick.
Prepare the barbecue sauce:
Pour 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika, 1 tablespoon of parsley garlic salt, a little black pepper, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl and stir well.
Marinate the potatoes:
Take out the cooked potatoes, drain the water, and put them into a large bowl. Pour in the prepared barbecue sauce and gently turn the potatoes to ensure each potato is evenly coated with the sauce.
Line a baking pan with baking paper, brush a layer of oil, and then place the potatoes on it.
Gently flatten the potatoes with the bottom of a cup or your palm, and then brush a thin layer of barbecue sauce (if there is any remaining sauce).
Put the baking pan into the preheated oven, on the middle rack, and bake at 220°C for 25 minutes.
During this time, you can observe the baking situation of the potatoes and adjust the oven temperature or time as needed.
After baking, take out the baking pan and sprinkle an appropriate amount of Parmesan cheese on each potato while it's still hot.
If you like, you can also sprinkle a little chopped scallions for decoration.
Let the cheese melt for a few minutes, and then you can enjoy the delicious French-style roasted potatoes. They can be served with yogurt sauce.
