How to Easily Make Eggnog
Hey friends! Nothing warms you up in winter like a cup of homemade eggnog. Today, I’m going to show you how easy it is to make this rich and sweet delight right at home.

INGREDIENTS
- Egg: 1 (approximately 50 grams)
DIRECTIONS
Prepare the Egg:
Take a clean bowl and gently crack the egg into it. Use chopsticks or a whisk to beat the egg quickly until the mixture is smooth and uniform, turning a light yellow color. Set it aside.
Prepare the Pot and Sweet Wine:
Get a clean pot and place it on the stove. Add 400 milliliters of water and heat over medium-low heat. Depending on your taste preference, pour in 100 milliliters of sweet wine (or rice wine). If you prefer a stronger sweet wine flavor, you can add more; if you like it lighter, use less.
Mix the Egg Mixture with Sweet Wine:
Once the sweet wine is gently heated and small bubbles start to appear, slowly pour in the beaten egg while continuously stirring with chopsticks or a spoon. This will help the egg mixture blend evenly with the sweet wine, creating beautiful egg flower shapes.
Adjust the Consistency:
Keep the heat on medium-low and watch the egg flowers. When they are fully cooked and no longer liquid, and the sweet wine starts to simmer and release steam, it indicates that it has reached the right consistency. At this point, you can decide whether to heat it a bit longer to adjust the temperature of the sweet wine according to your preference.
Enjoy:
Pour the cooked sweet wine egg mixture into a bowl and enjoy! You can garnish the top with some sweet osmanthus or goji berries for added flavor and visual appeal, according to your preference.
