Long Beans with Garlic Paste
Summer is the season when Long Beans are abundantly available. Long Beans are rich in protein, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, fiber, as well as minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and iron, making them highly nutritious and beneficial for overall health.
Green long beans, tossed with garlic paste, offer a rich garlic flavor. Plus, they're healthy and low in oil, making them a suitable choice for those looking to lose weight.

INGREDIENTS
- 300g long beans
DIRECTIONS
Wash the Long Beans and cut them into 4-5cm lengths. Mince the garlic cloves (or use a garlic press to crush them). Meanwhile, bring a pot of water to a boil, adding a teaspoon of salt to the water.
After the water boils, add a few drops of oil to it.
Pour the cut Long Beans into the pot of boiling water.
Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for three to four minutes. Use a pair of chopsticks to pick up one stick Long Beans and taste it to check if it's cooked.
Lift out the cooked Long Beans and cool them in cold water.
Heat a skillet and add half a spoon of oil.
Heat the oil, add the minced garlic, sauté until fragrant, then turn off the heat.
Pour the Long Beans into the pan, mix evenly with the garlic paste, and mix well using the residual heat in the pan.
Add a pinch of salt and chicken stock powder, mix well, and it's ready to serve.
The finished dish is rich in garlic flavor, with tender Long Beans and just the right balance of seasoning, making it a refreshing and delicious quick dish.
