INGREDIENTS
- 350g Tofu
DIRECTIONS
Prepare all ingredients. Wash 350g of tofu and cut it into small cubes, about 5mm thick.
Heat 350ml of oil in a clean pan until hot.
Carefully add the tofu cubes to the hot oil for frying (be cautious of splashes due to the high moisture content of the tofu).
Fry until the tofu turns golden brown. It should have a crispy exterior and remain soft inside, with a texture that is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Once fried, cut the tofu cubes in half.
Return the cut tofu to the pan for additional frying to help them keep their shape. This method preserves the moisture in the tofu as much as possible.
Prepare the Sauce: In a bowl, combine 150g chili powder, 50g barbecue sauce, 30g barbecue seasoning, 8g sugar, 20g hot sauce, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1 tablespoon vinegar.
Heat the oil used for frying the tofu until hot, then pour it into the bowl with the sauce mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly.
Toss the tofu strips in the sauce until evenly coated.
Your delicious Spicy Tofu Strips are ready to enjoy!
