Sweet Corn Congee
Summer is the season when corn ripens. It's a perfect time to cook up some Sweet Corn Congee—delicious and healthy. This version of Sweet Corn Congee adds sweet corn kernels to the classic rice porridge, enhancing both texture and flavor. It's suitable for people of all ages to enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
- 50g corn
- 50g rice
DIRECTIONS
Prepare all ingredients; soak the rice in advance.
Blanch the corn kernels and remove the husks.
Tip:
Sweet Corn Congee made with husked corn kernels will be more delicious.
Peel and dice the cucumber, and dice the corn kernels.
Tip:
If there are no babies at home, you can skip dicing the corn kernels.
Brush a small amount of oil in the pot.
Add the corn and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
Add the diced cucumber, stir-fry evenly for about 1 minute.
Pour in 200ml milk, simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes.
Add the soaked rice into the pot, along with 100ml of water. Stir well and simmer over low heat until soft, about 20 minutes.
Tip:
Stir constantly while cooking to prevent sticking to the pot.
If the water reduces, add a little more, using hot water when adding.
After cooking through, turn off the heat and let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes. Your aromatic Sweet Corn Congee is ready to serve!
