INGREDIENTS
- 260g ground beef
- 8 lasagna noodles
- 50g grated dry cheese
- 250g crushed tomatoes
DIRECTIONS
Begin by preparing all the ingredients.
Dice 40g of onion, 120g of carrot, and 120g of celery. Mince 5g of garlic and set aside.
Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once hot, add 260g of ground beef and cook until it changes color.
Add the minced garlic, diced carrot, celery, and onion to the pan, stirring to combine.
Continue cooking until the onions become translucent.
Add salt to taste, black pepper to taste, 100g of tomato paste, 180ml of milk, 120g of white wine, and 3 bay leaves. Stir well and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add 250g of crushed tomatoes.
Simmer uncovered over medium heat for about 30 minutes, reducing the sauce until thickened. Your aromatic meat sauce is ready. Let it cool and set aside.
In a clean pan, melt 20g of butter, then add 1 tablespoon of flour and 120ml of milk. Stir to combine and create a smooth mixture.
Simmer over low heat until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency. Set the prepared white sauce aside.
In a clean pot, cook 9 lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. For this brand, boil for about 2 minutes. Remove the cooked noodles and set aside.
Once all ingredients are ready, spread a layer of lasagna noodles in a baking dish, and brush with the white sauce.
Spread a layer of meat sauce over the white sauce.
Tip:
Be sure to remove the bay leaves before adding the meat sauce.
Layer the ingredients as described, until the baking dish is filled. Finish by sprinkling the top with dry cheese powder.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (about 190°C) and bake for 35-40 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with a few basil or mint leaves.
