Low-Fat Grilled Chicken Gizzards
Chicken gizzards are tender, crispy, and just the right texture, making them a delightful treat. They can be prepared in various ways such as frying, stir-frying, or braising, each method offering a unique flavor. Today, I want to introduce you to low-fat grilled chicken gizzards, where each bite is chewy and flavorful, perfect for those looking to trim down.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound (about 500 grams) chicken gizzards
DIRECTIONS
Prepare the chicken gizzards and other ingredients.
Halve the cleaned chicken gizzards down the middle, then make repeated horizontal and vertical cuts to create slits, facilitating better seasoning penetration.
Place the chicken gizzards in a dish and add 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of cooking wine.
Add 1 teaspoon of white pepper and 1 teaspoon of five-spice powder to the dish, then mix well to ensure the gizzards are evenly coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
After marinating for 20 minutes, preheat the oven to 200°C (about 390°F).
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the marinated chicken gizzards on it.
Lightly spray the chicken gizzards with olive oil and place them in the preheated oven.
Bake at 200°C (about 390°F) for 25 minutes.
Tips:
Oven temperatures may vary, so adjust the temperature according to your own oven's settings.
Transfer the cooked chicken gizzards to a serving dish and sprinkle with 0.35 ounces (about 10 grams) of white sesame seeds, 0.35 ounces (about 10 grams) of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, and 1 tablespoon of chili powder.
Mix well and serve. Enjoy your meal!
