Bean sprouts come in various varieties, are nutritionally balanced, and are common vegetables. They have high nutritional value. There are many ways to cook bean sprouts. Next, I will mainly introduce a recipe for stir-fried bean sprouts with meat. Interested friends can learn more about it.

1.Regarding bean sprouts:

The history of bean sprouts can be traced back to ancient China, where they were initially possibly used as medicine before becoming a common food. The earliest records of bean sprouts date back to the Han Dynasty, when they were called "yellow rolls" and were young shoots made from sprouted beans such as soybeans. Over time, bean sprouts gradually became a common vegetable on people's dining tables.

There are many ways to eat bean sprouts, such as cold tossing and stir-frying. Stir-frying bean sprouts with tender meat strips is a particularly eye-catching dish on the dining table.

2.How to sprout bean sprouts:

Start by selecting high-quality soybeans. Place the chosen soybeans in a clean container and add enough clean water so that the soybeans are completely submerged. (Typically soak for 8-12 hours).

Prepare a breathable sprouting container. Line the bottom of the container with damp cheesecloth or paper towels. Evenly spread the soaked soybeans on top of the cloth or towels.

Place the sprouting container in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Use a spray bottle to mist the soybeans every morning and evening to keep the environment moist.

Please note that sprouting soybeans will yield soybean sprouts, while mung beans are needed for mung bean sprouts. Since I've chosen soybean sprouts here, I'll briefly explain the process of sprouting soybean sprouts. I recommend purchasing soybean sprouts directly from Asian supermarkets or online.

3.How to choose bean sprouts:

Bean sprouts are generally categorized into soybean sprouts and mung bean sprouts. While their leaves may have some differences, their roots and stems typically look similar. I'm using soybean sprouts because they have higher nutritional value compared to other sprouts and a fresher, more tender taste.

When buying bean sprouts, carefully observe whether they are white, clean, and glossy. You can also pinch them to check the moisture content at the neck after breaking. Fresh bean sprouts usually have a glossy appearance and retain more moisture.

4.What to do with soybean sprouts:

After purchasing soybean sprouts, soak them in clean water for 5-10 minutes, then rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove impurities and residue. During the rinsing process, gently rub the bean sprouts to remove surface roots and impurities.

5.How to slice pork:

When cutting pork, it's best to slice along the grain of the meat. This helps the meat hold together better when stir-frying or cooking, as the fibers are shorter and less likely to get stuck in your teeth. Start by slicing the pork into thin slices, then cut those slices into strips.

Bean sprouts can be paired with various ingredients, and while their preparation seems simple, it actually requires some skill. Below, I will share in detail how to stir-fry bean sprouts with pork. It's a straightforward recipe that you can enjoy every day without feeling bored.

Personally, I prefer a sour taste, would adding 20g of vinegar be sour?
